We should have posted this a long time ago, sorry: Grand Central Station Flashmob madness!
This is by far the coolest flashmob I’ve seen yet. Check it out if you haven’t already seen it, a flashmob freezes in mid stride/picking up papers/etc for 5 minutes, not acknowledging anything or anyone, but when the time’s up they disperse like nothing happened. And not just a couple people, 200, in the main concourse of Grand Central Station. How freaking would that be? Straight out of, among other places, X2. Yeah, I like the X-Men movies, even after Brett Ratner crapped the last one up a little, so what? Haha. But also, flash mobs are becoming more and more a, well, not everyday thing, but a common, and known thing, so they, being part of the culture, should be making their way into writing… and don’t try to tell me that you can’t come up with a metaphor, or thematic parallel for a flash mob of 200 people freezing in place. Enjoy.
