Two writing exercises involving animals
Write a piece during an absurd meeting between forest animals, to discuss the shrinking forest. Don’t be cutesy though, that’s too easy, and boring. Create infighting and vehemence from someone you wouldn’t expect it from, like the cute chipmunk or sparrow.
Turn the heads of government of any country into animals, and have them interact. Maybe a non animal shows up, and depending on the person, acts accordingly.
then one more for good measure.
Write a piece indicating time intervals by something unusual. A cigarette burning, a 12 of beer emptying, the dirty clothes pile growing, etc.
