Are you afraid to cross the genre line?
I’ve been often curious about categorizing books. Why Orwell’s 1984 is only in literature, not sci fi/fantasy, and Heinlein’s The Moon is a Harsh Mistress or Asimov’s Foundation would be found no where else. There’s so many great books that get stuck as ‘just barely too genre’ that they don’t get any of the appreciation they deserve as astounding works of fiction.
