A couple exercises to tide you over
Until the Firestarter Challenge starts, these are just for your enjoyment:
Imagery: a freeway barrier with lots of tire marks going up and off of it.
Imagery: The co-mingling scents of lilac and burned rubber.
Persona: write a short scene in first person from your favorite tv show character’s perspective, you can have them do whatever you want, but try to match the voice, and choices they would make, this will help you get more into your own character’s minds.
