Yeah, this isn’t entirely new news, but if you don’t follow poetry news too closely, and I don’t see how you couldn’t, Lucille Clifton has won the prestigious Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, which brings one of the largest paychecks a poet can hope for, $100,000.
